TGIF!

Oh this weekend could not come any sooner!  I've been able to get a few hours of crafting here and there, but I'm itching to get a few good long hours just to myself.  When that will happen who knows...lol.  For now my quick creations will have to do.  My next card was inspired by two challenges.  Runway Inspired Challenge for it's colors and patterns and CAS(E) this Sketch for the design.

Butterfly stick pin (pin removed), Memento Tuxedo Black, Danube Blue, Dandelion, Tangelo, Bahama Blue Ink, Mango AC cardstock, Black cardstock, white embossing powder

I used the emboss resist technique to follow the model's dress...

 and here's the sketch...

Paper Made Bakery: Toot -a- Loo!

Where did this month go?  Aloha friends and thanks so much for all your support and lovely comments!  I'm so blessed and appreciate everyone hopping over to Paper Made Bakery to check out my latest posts as a Guest Designer.  This has been a dream come true for me!  I'm so sad to say this is my last post as Guest Designer for Paper Made Bakery playing with the One Scrappy Dame Kit.  There might be a kit left so go check it out!

Ombre Thanks

Aloha everyone and thanks for stopping by!  Today was the first day my preschooler didn't cry after dropping him off.  So in turn I cried...lol...of course after I left his class and behind sunglasses so nobody could tease me.  It's been almost a month since the kids have been in school and only now do I feel we are getting into a routine.

Anywho on to my card which was inspired by this week's Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World.
It looks soooo delicious and I'm not quite sure I could eat something this beautiful...even if I was starving.

Sooooo pretty!  Not quite sure my card has the same elegance, but I did use the ombre look and the butterfly in my design.

I needed a card for my patient that moved back to the mainland (that's what we call it here in Hawaii, haha).  She was so sweet and sent me an update on her move and some souvenirs from her hometown.  Love that my job connects me with such thoughtful people. Also going to enter this in the AEI(heart)U Challenge using the sketch.

Kitty Bee Challenge #6: Birthday
