Halloween is almost here!

Can you believe it?
I'm back so quickly with my most favorite themed card
HALLOWEEN!!!
I'm a HUGE Halloween fan as evidenced by my
obsession with everything pumpkin and by this
year's costume...

I'm looking forward to the next weekend already!

And now on to my Halloween card...

Lawn Fawn Hoppy Halloween, Lawn Fawn Critters in Costume, Lawn Fawn Teeny Tiny Backdrops
Lawn Fawn Starry Backdrop, Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die

The background was heat embossed in yellow and distressed in various
"evening" shades.  Even the die cut grass got a dip in distress inks.
All the images were watercolored to keep with the look.

I'll be entering this in

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Mummies in 1 hour!

My daughter has choir practice every Saturday morning and Friday night, after a 12 hour shift at work, she tells me that she wants to pass out Halloween goodies to her choir.  After a big *inner sigh* the wheels start turning.  This year I haven't gone crazy over the Halloween candy (I've been a bit turned off by the prices in some of the stores) so in looking at the kids' snack stash for school, I found enough of those cookie and cracker variety packs...gotta love Costco!  Now what to do for packaging?  The hubby came up with the idea of mummies and wrapping them.  Of course I was not into using my precious white cardstock, so instead we used left over crepe paper!  Totally quick and easy.  The kids started wrapping and inking for a "dirty" look.  I had them place their googly eyes and draw in a little mouth. VOILA!  Treats for everyone in under an hour!!

I'm gonna try my luck and enter the SSS Monday Challenge: Anything Goes.

I'll be back to post more soon...I hope!

Getting back into the craft room...

Our family has been busy with my daughter's musical
The Little Mermaid
the last 2 weeks!
Talk about no time for crafting whatsoever and I totally missed
WCMD...what we do for our kids right?!
Here's some photos I wanted to share...

I'm one proud mom and have seen her grow tremendously in a few short weeks.
 *tear

I loved that little bro wanted to be involved too and asked to see her show
every night that it was on.

Thanks to the hubby, 140 cupcakes were made for party favors and
the cast party potluck.  We made little cupcake holders
thanks to Jennifer McGuire's tutorial!
Tags were made using Lawn Fawn's Tag You're It dies and
Life is Good set.

I finally managed to get a card done to enter the next
 Lawnscaping Challenge: Pattern Paper

I used a 12x12 pattern paper and letter stickers
 for this long-ish card

How do you like my copic coloring skills?! I think I'm finally
getting the hang of it!  Smaller images make me feel like a pro, hehehe

More to Love!
