Hero Arts Stamp sets in a unique way!

Here's a sneak peak...

All About the Sentiment

Aloha friends!
Today I've got a card for
for our newest challenge

It's time to get out all those Hero Arts sentiment stamps and make something!
I pulled out sentiments from the Bits and Pieces set and used
Hero Arts Ombre inks to give the sentiments a bit more pizazz!

Have you tried the Hero Arts Ombre inks?
I'm completely addicted and love this combination of the
Light to Dark Peach sentiments with the Mint to Green dots!
Where are those dots from you ask?!  They're suppose to be the centers for
the flowers in Color Layering Flowers set, but why not
use them as confetti dots too!
I wanted a little more color so I used the Lilac to Grape Purple for the sweet flowers
and added some enamel dots for fun.
The card front was all adhered to the pretty Hero Arts Blush Mix Layering papers
that have a beautiful peachy pink color on one side and white on the inside
perfect for letter writing!
I was thinking all the sentiments could be used for a
Congrats, birthday or encouragement card just by switching
up the sentiment on the inside of the card.

That's it for me today!

Glitter and Sequins!

Happy Saturday folks!
Hope your weekend is off to a great start.
Today I'm over at
playing with our latest challenge using this fabulous collage from Pinterest

RAINBOWS!  My FAVORITE color and theme for cards!!

Here's a sneaky peek of my card...

I pulled out the glitters and sequins to make a super fun and cheery card!

I hope you'll come on over to check out the full card using these fun supplies...

Bear Hugs On Your Birthday!

I saw the fun challenge going on over at

and hopped to it to create this sparkly card...

I took that sweet bear and party hat from Lawn Fawn's Party Animal stamped on
watercolor paper and used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors to color him in.
I used my craft knife to cut the arms to be able to hold the die cut
Scripty Hugs.  The rest of the sentiment was inked up with
Lawn Fawn Fish Tank ink, using Riley's ABCs.
The yellow panel was die cut using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles die.

Can you guess how I did the glittery polka dot background?
I used the circle dies from Owen's ABCs die and die cut DCWV Glitzy Glitter Matstack paper,
then randomly glued and snipped off the edges.

That's it for me!
I hope you'll stop by again for my A Blog Named Hero post later today.
I guarantee more color, glitter and sequins!

Thank You for A2Z Scrapbooking

Aloha Everyone!
I'm over at A2Z Scrapbooking with a Clean and Simple Card
 using this versatile stamp set

I'm a big fan of supporting small businesses and the A2Z Scrapbooking Supplies company
has a unique background story...

The company was started to raise funds for community causes including Celiac Disease, Camp Gluten Freedom, and Behcets. Our main focus is charitable giving to the auto-immunity disease community.

As a nurse, my passion lays in educating the public on the complexities of certain disease processes.
I find that educating those around us help to bring an awareness,
and less fear of the unknown!
I would love to see A2Z Scrapbooking Supplies reach their goal of raising
enough funds to build a Food Allergy Free Camp in Central Indiana...
Just by making a purchase at the A2Z Scrapbooking store!
They have a ton of Hero Arts products and there's even sale items that are 50% off!

As a design team member I also get the priviledge
to give my readers a code (Nicki15) for 15% off!
I hope you'll stop by and even link up your
Clean and Simple creation HERE for a chance to win a
$25 gift certificate to the store!!

What better way to spend money AND help out a good cause for these communities!

Happy shopping!!

Coloring With Sequins!

Yay for a long weekend!
I hope everyone stayed safe this 4th and had extra time to craft.
I've been dying to play with the new Avery Elle Stay Fresh
stamp set just because that pineapple is so trendy right now and of course for the fun sentiments!

Fun and cute right?!
I've been heat embossing in gold on vellum, watercoloring and today
coloring with sequins!!!

Today's card...

I thought it would fit right in to the latest AEIHeartUChallenge

I first die cut the pineapple on some teal cardstock in my stash and then
penciled the outline of the pineapple on my card base.
Then the coloring began with several of the fabulous Avery Elle sequins in
Lemonade, Evergreen and Kraft adhered with Multi Matte Medium glue.
They are a blend of shades of color and 2 sizes in 5mm and 6mm all in one bag!
The sentiment finished the card panel and I adhered with foam tape.

That's my card for today!

Baby Congrats for Kitty Bee Design

Happy Hump Day!
I've got a card to share today that's over on the

I love this sweet little giraffe!

Because she doesn't know what she's having I decided
to use a bunch of soft colors in polka dots die cut with the
Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares die to create a quilt look
for my background.  The giraffe was watercolored using
Gansai Tambi Watercolors, fussy cut and adhered with foam tape.
The sentiment is fromLawn Fawn Scripty Congrats and Plus One.

Hope you all are having a blessed week.
Mahalo for stopping by!

More to Love!
