Coffee Bean Christmas Tree with Hero Arts

Can you believe it's that time of year already!?  The Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is upon us and I'm super excited to join the fun!!  Amy and friends work super hard to make this the best blog hop filled with awesome inspiration and crazy generous prizes!  Not familiar?  Hop over and come join the fun!!

My coffee go-to set is by Hero Arts called Kelly's Coffee and Donuts and I decided to make a coffee bean Christmas tree.

I used Hero Arts Ombre ink in Light to Dark Brown and stamped out the coffee beans after creating a triangular stencil out of some scratch paper.  The little coffee cups were colored with copic markers and individually cut and adhered to appear as Christmas ornaments.  The little star is a die cut from silver glitter paper.

The card front uses Hero Arts Snowflake Border Background Stamp for a tone on tone look.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts Christmas Messages (my go-to holiday stamp set this season) and heat embossed in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder.  Best part?  It's on sale over at a2z Scrapbooking!

The gals over at a2z Scrapbooking  have some delicious looking projects...go ahead and take a peek!

Fall Themed Thank You with A2Z Scrapbooking

It's November!  I'm a huge fan of fall with the cooler weather and gearing up for the holiday celebrations.  As fast as the months seem to fly, November reminds me to be thankful for everything.

The new challenge this month over at a2z Scrapbooking is EMBELLISH IT!  I usually go way overboard with this kind of challenge, but thought I'd tame things down with just a few Hero Arts lighth blue pearls and some twine.  The main sentiment is from Hero Arts You're So Kind inked in

Hero Arts Indigo Hybrid Ink.  I find that Hero Arts hybrid inks are so vibrant on Kraft cardstock.

The little wreath was created using the smaller images in the Hero Arts Holiday Greetings.  I wanted things a little offset just for added interest.

The other Hero Arts Hybrid Ink colors I used is Caramel, Tangerine, Moss and Pine. Pretty on Kraft right!?

Looking forward to seeing all the projects over at a2z Scrapbooking.  Don't forget every card entry is a change to win a $25 gift certificate to the store!  There's tons of goodies so take a look!!

Need Coffee!

Aloha friends!  Super excited for this year's Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!!  Amy and friends make this an amazing hop, so if you're new, come join the fun by posting a coffee, tea or cocoa themed project!

This is always an exciting time of year for me with the upcoming holiday season which kickstarts with Halloween in this household!

I used the super fun Hero Arts Kelly's Monster Stamp and Cut and colored with copics.  I used the speech bubble and filled with coffee beans from Hero Arts Kelly's Coffee and Donuts (one of my favorite coffee themed stamps). I thought it would be fun to have the bats flying around with coffee cups.  I'm thinkin' I might like bats more if they brought me coffee...lol.  All the stamps were purchased at a2z Scrapbooking and you can use this code NICKI15 for 15% off your purchase of $25 or more!

Everything was layered on some Doodlebug Designs pattern paper.  I've joined the gals over at a2z Scrapbooking so check them out as well!

No ifs, ands or bolts...

I've been having waaaaaay too much fun with the Hero Arts Kelly's Monster Stamp and Cut!

The sentiments are just soooo fun and this time I decided to paper piece Frankenstein with some left over pattern paper laying around.

I used some Lawn Fawn paper to create a Halloween themed frame.  For some added fun I decided to distress the paper with Hickory Smoke Distress ink.  I thought it gave it a little more Halloween-ish look.

Anyone else looking forward to Halloween like I am?  I'm definitely wanting cooler weather!

Christmas Envelopes with Lawn Fawn

Happy Monday friends!

I actually found some time this weekend to play with my new goodies from Lawn Fawn!!  Vanessa from Butterfly Reflections Ink hooked me up...I totally recommend her store for speedy service and huge selection of goodies!

I played with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Envelope die using some glitter paper and used some scrap cardstock to create scenes and cover panels (just by using the envelope die to cut the panel I needed).  These envelopes will be perfect for holding gift cards or money for the holidays!

On the left uses the Lawn Fawn Scripty Merry die and I made a little banner with the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas set inked in Lawn Fawn Yeti ink.

On the right uses the Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas and the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Tiny Tag Sayings inked in Lawn Fawn Fish Tank ink.

With all that glitter paper and texture I wanted to enter the latest Lawnscaping Challenge...

Mahalo for stopping by and hope y'all have a great week ahead!

Good Witch with Hero Arts

Aloha friends! Halloween is my absolute favorite time of year as it kick starts the rest of the holidays in this household.  When it comes to Halloween, I love the cute costumes and festive decorations. The scary stuff can I can do without...haha!!

Today I'm playing with Hero Arts Witch Feet Stamp and Cut which has the cutest sentiments!

The background was created using my new favorite Hero Arts Candy Stripe Bold Prints inked with Hero Arts Intense Black ink on orange card stock for a festive look.  I lined the edge with some Doodlebug Design Candy Corn washi tape for even more fun.

To create the image I used a pot (inked in Hero Arts Lime to Forever Green) from last year's holiday stamps by Hero Arts Merry Cactus to You, then masked it to stamp the witch feet inked in Hero Arts Lilac to Grape Purple ombre ink.

I added some spider webs from the set and the sentiment at the bottom and mounted on my card front with foam tape.  Lawn Fawn licorice twine finished the card!

Are you ready for the fall season?  I certainly am!!  Have a fabulous day and mahalo for stopping by!!!

Ice Cream Bowl with Hero Arts

Have you seen the latest Hero Arts Winter Catalog?  It got me excited for cooler weather and reminded me of one of my favorite sets from last Christmas Merry Cactus to You.  Then I got the idea to use one of the pots and turn it into an ice cream bowl.  The pot turned bowl was perfect for 3 scoops!

To get that "creamy" effect I used Hero Arts Unicorn ink on colored cardstock, then stamped the detail with a matching ink color. My son recently discovered Neopolitan ice cream on his birthday which was the inspiration for the flavor choice on today's card!

Each scoop was cut with the matching die and then adhered to my card panel that used a circle stitched die for a fun background.  To complete the mound of ice cream I topped it with a cherry and some glossy accents for dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Heart Window for a2z Scrapbooking Challenge

Happy Aloha Friday friends!  Can you believe we're already in July?!  I'm trying to soak up every bit of summer with the family, but we haven't even made it to the beach yet.  Hence today's card...

For my card front I wanted a tone on tone look to not take away from my scene in the heart window.

I used Hero Arts Basic Grey Tiny Flowers & Dots Mint Julip with Versamark ink. If you LOVE background stamps like I do, you'll love that this is on sale at the store for only $2.50!  After stamping my background I used the Hero Arts So Sorry Stamp and Cut (the largest heart die) to create a window.  On the inside of my card I adhered my Hawaii scene created with the Hero Arts Hawaii Destinationwhite heat embossed, and watercolored with Tombow markers.

Over at a2z Scrapbooking we're having an ANYTHING GOES challenge! Now's the time to get out those Hero Arts products and use them on a project for your chance to win $25 to the store

For the products I used or anything in the a2z Scrapbooking store use code NICKI15 for 15% off your purchase of $25 or more to help the Behcet's and Celiac communities.

Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop with a2z Scrapbooking!

Oh boy, oh boy!  It's here!!  The Coffee Blog Hop is my most FAVORITE hop and I look forward to each one!!!  It's so fun to see everyone's creations and of course the chance for prizes is too good to pass up!

Today I'm with the gals over at a2z Scrapbooking sharing our favorite Hero Arts products with the summer theme.

Here's my card...

I used the fun Hero Arts Paper Layering Palm Tree Pair fancy die and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I used a Mini Ink blending tool to create the sun with Hero Arts Bold Ink in Dandelion and then smudged some Pool ink  on the edges.  For the "sand" I used some kraft paper torn and inked up the edges with the ombre ink Sand to Chocolate Brown.  My coffee cups are from Kelly's Portland and colored with bright colors for a summer feel.  (side note the hubby was not a fan...lol).  Finally for the sentiment (not to take away from the scene) is from an older Hero Arts Everyday Sayings.

For the supplies I've used on my card and more fun Hero Arts supplies head on over to a2z Scrapbooking and use code NICKI15 for 15% off $25 or more purchase.  Proceeds from the store helps the Behcets and Celiac communities. Big mahalo for stopping by!

Mondays call for DONUTS!

(source)

Hello!  For my card I've been dying to use that sweet donut from Hero Arts Kelly's Portland clear set.  I wanted to make a huge box of donuts the simplest way possible.  Grabbed some fabulous Hero Arts Shadow inks in Soft Sand, Bubble Gum and Pool and inked away!

For a fun "donut box" look I framed the edge using a Doodlebug Design polka dot vellum.  Did you know the Tombo permanent adhesive runner works great and you can't see the adhesive?!  To finish the card I cut out a banner and white heat embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts Cheers Messages by Lia.

I wish you all a very happy Monday and MAHALO for stopping by!!

More to Love!
