One Layer Challenge with A Blog Named Hero

Happy Monday!
It's a new challenge over at
with the theme

can I just say this one stumped me!
It just about killed me not to add another layer of something (sequins, die cuts, paper)

So I was wrecking my brain for a few days
when the lightbulb finally came on!

I used the Hero Arts Ombre inks
to bring more dimension to my One Layer Card!!

This card was all about stamping, masking and ombre inks!
I first stamped all the frames from the Shine Bright set in the Grey to Black
ombre ink pad using the MISTI.
I then created a mask by stamping the frame
on a post-it note and cutting the inside.

I wanted an artsy feel so I only used the detailed part of the Altenew rose stamp
and got out all my Hero Arts Ombre inks!
Each frame was stamped with a different colored rose.

Finally the sentiment stamped in the Pool to Navy ombre ink pad
from the Stamp Your Own Fruit set.
I cut apart the sentiment to get the words side by side.

I LOVE the dimension that magically appears with the ombre inks!

I hope you'll join us for our
One Layer Challenge!
We are generously sponsored by

Mahalo for stopping by!!!
