Sending Aloha...and a card set

In my last post I mentioned my patient passing, so the inevitable sympathy card was in order.  I was having a hard time with it because I did not want the card to be sad.  I wanted to celebrate what I remembered about her.  She danced hula, she made leis and she never said good bye...always "see you next time."

Here's the card to celebrate the life of a patient that I will truly miss...

I loved that Lawn Fawn came out with the perfect sentiment.  "Aloha" can mean a lot of things from hello, good bye, see you later, and love.  I think she would love this card.

This card was so much stampy fun I decided to make more in different colors...

Lawn Fawn Let's Roll, Lawn Fawn Wish You Were Here, Too, Lawn Fawn Check This Out
Lawn Fawn Pattern Paper, Hero Arts Shadow Inks in Green Hills, Field Greens, Soft Sand,
Pool, Tide Pool, Stone Wash, Orange Soda, Butter Bar, Bubble Gum, Passion Flower, and Grape Juice

I needed more birthday cards so I just changed the sentiment for the specific occasion.

Off to go create more cards...feeling the creative mojo in full effect!
Mahalo for stopping by!

  5. I love that these don't say "with sympathy" and how you like to celebrate life. You've got a great perspective, Niki, and some really gorgeous cards!
