Happy

Happy is definitely how my hubby makes me feel on a daily basis.  He is always there to encourage me whether it's through a hard day at work or a card design I can't get a grasp of.  He was my inspiration in making this card and the sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches.

I've been playing with more pattern paper recently since my local craft store had an amazing sale.  I used the Studio Calico Here and There paper pad and fussy cut the skyline to add more interest.  I'm loving the potty people trend and had to incorporate them into the card!

Hoping my card is not too far off from the sketch!

Calling it a night.  Looking forward to Lain Ehman's True Stamp Class LIVE online.  I'll be up at 4am to hop online for an amazing lineup of stamping celebrities! It may not be too late to sign up True Stamp 2013

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and able to steal away some time to craft!

  1. What a fantastic take on the sketch! I love seeing the cityscape and I think you get extra points for calling the characters "potty people!" I keep seeing them around blogland and I've never thought of them that way - even though that's exactly what they are! LOL! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
