Snuck away...

This is a quick post as I snuck away from the in-laws to enter this week's CAS(E) this Sketch.  Not much to explain...just a bunch of hexagon shapes made with my E-Clips machine and stamping!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps You Said It Sister, FSS Tickle My Fancy, Hexagon shapes and shadow, Memento Ink Teal Zeal, American Crafts twine

I love peacock feathers!  Something about their colors and frilliness.  I remember the first time I saw a peacock feather just lying on the ground at the zoo and couldn't get over the beauty of it.

Here's the sketch...

Thanks for stopping by!  Can't believe it's the end of the week already...YAY for the weekend!  Hope to get more crafting done.  I know I said I'd be back with more of that fun emboss resist technique, but after a few hours of trying to get a design right, I gave up and it's back to the drawing board for me!  Stay tuned though!

  5. In love with this, peacock feathers are IN!!

  6. I love the elegance and simplicity of this hexagon card. The previous polka dot one is also excellent. Thanks for giving me another way of looking at stamping.

  7. Very clever use of the elements - almost a hybrid spotlight technique! Super cool!! Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS(E) This Sketch - we're so glad you did!
