I like mine...crispy!

A quick mahalo to everyone that has been hopping along and leaving sweet comments for our first ever Kitty Bee Designs Blog Hop!  If you haven't had the chance yet, go check it out...I guarantee it'll have you smiling!

A little tidbit about myself...I'm a huge breakfast fan.  I could eat breakfast items for lunch and dinner and be totally happy and content.  Of course my favorite breakfast item...bacon!  I prefer my bacon crispy and when I started to ink up this fun Paper Smooches set I had a ton of fun mixing and matching ink colors and paper to create the perfect bacon for my card...one with crisp edges...hehe

Ta da....

"If God's not a Broncos fan why did he make sunsets Blue and Orange?"

Seriously I'm not that big into football, but feel a little obligated since Colorado is my second home ;-)
Have a great weekend!

Picking Up the Pieces Vol. 8 Peeking Blooms

Happy Monday!  Finally getting back into the swing of things around here.  The kids are back to school today and it's back to our old routine.  As much as I think routine can be mundane, sometimes it's the only way to keep our sanity around here...lol

I played with this fun Paper Smooches die and will be entering the next Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge

I always need a stash of get well soon cards...it's just the business I'm in ;o)

Paper Smooches Get Well Phrase die, Paper Smooches Calico, Paper Smooches Bold Blooms, Hero Arts Shadow inks in Pale Tomato, Stone Wash an Tide Pool

I'm pretty smitten with this fabulously sized die so this will also be entered in the Curtain Call Challenge

Wishing you all a great week...and mahalo for stopping by!

Playing with Paper Smooches

Saw the latest Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge using this fabulous photo...

The colors are just gorgeous and love the water element.  Here's my take...

Paper Smooches Leafy Greens, Versamark, Memento Ink in Morocco and Peanut Brittle, Hero Arts ink in Tide Pool, Distress Ink in Shaded  Lilac, Raffia

I wanted a subtle effect, but when I used just the Versamark you could hardly see the tone on tone look I was going for.  I decided to rock-n-roll the solid stamps in the coordinating cardstock colors to define the outline.  Gotta add this to my stash of thank you's since Thanksgiving is right around the corner!  Mahalo for stopping by!

More to Love!
