Using my stash...

In an effort to stop hoarding my craft supplies I decided it's time to tackle the mountain of paper pads I've collected...

I was inspired by this week's Sweet Stamp Shop Challenge: Use What You Have! and the colors and design inspired by this week's Tuesday Trigger

I decided to tackle the mound from the top and it was just meant to be.  The paper matched the colors and even had a paint-like pattern to it like the trigger picture above!

Sweet Stamp Shop Sweet Spring and sentiment from Get Fit, American Crafts Color Crush Paper Pad, Woodgrain Washi Tape, Memento Tuxedo Black and Peanut Brittle Ink, Copic markers and foam tape

I stamped and masked the lilies directly on the pattern paper then colored the leaves in with copic markers.  The pinkish lillies are paper pieced and foam taped while the blue and honey colored lillies are colored in.  I had that cute little birdie pattern paper and decided to cut them out and foam tape to the scene. There's still time to enter the Sweet Stamp Shop Challenge so hop on over for the details.  Word is, if there's more entries Mrs. Sweet will pick 2 winners!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
